21/01: 1st Annual Big Rock Battle - "BRB"
Big Rock Ridge is the second highest peak in Marin, topping out at around 1850', it looms over Novato like a protective mother, watching over every corner of our little town.
6 friends got together on 1/20/08 to participate in a Man vs. Mountain timed trials event, in which we hiked from the bottom to the top, straight up the gut of the beast. We take a trail from directly below the peak straight up the gut of the main valley right to the top.
